I am on vacation alone for the first time in almost two decades. A REAL VACATION not a workshop or training event where I get free time at the end of the day. I have been out a little but cannot explain how wonderful it is to be away from the real world even if it means sitting and looking at the fish in the tank.

I have been burnt out from work and the mundane tasks of trying to solve everyone else's issue. This sadly means that I have neglected my own. I am thankful to get a chance to see my home again as an adult so that I can once again appreciate my good fortunes.
